Zusammenfassung

Veralto Corporation is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support accurate, compliant US payroll across multiple pay groups within the Global Payroll function. This role is part of Corporate HR Shared Services and contributes to a standardized, scalable payroll model.

Responsibilities include end-to-end payroll processing, data validation, reconciliations, and support for a Workday–ADP environment, with a focus on compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifikationen

  • 5–7 years of experience in U.S. payroll operations (multi-state, multi-entity).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
  • Strong experience with ADP platforms and U.S. payroll regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end payroll processes.

Aufgaben

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing across U.S. pay groups and entities.
  • Own components of the payroll lifecycle: data validation, reconciliations, issue resolution.
  • Support payroll execution within a Workday–ADP environment, including pre‑work, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer complex pay components such as commissions, bonuses, equity transactions, severance, and retroactive adjustments.
  • Monitor payroll timelines and proactively escalate risks when inputs are incomplete or delayed.
  • Perform payroll reviews and reconciliations to identify discrepancies before finalization.
  • Maintain SOX‑compliant, audit‑ready documentation and support audit requests.
  • Manage employee lifecycle payroll activities (new hires, changes, separations).
  • Respond to employee inquiries through shared inbox/ticketing processes.
  • Prepare payroll reports and support stakeholders with accurate and timely data.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to standardization and automation efforts.

About the Role

Veralto is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support the delivery of accurate, compliant, and timely payroll across the United States while contributing to the evolution of the Global Payroll function. This role is part of Veralto’s Corporate HR Shared Services organization, within the Global Payroll team, and is undergoing a transformation toward a standardized, scalable global payroll model.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing across multiple U.S. pay groups and legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Own key components of the payroll lifecycle, including data validation, reconciliations, issue resolution, and final outputs.
  • Support payroll execution within a Workday–ADP environment, including pre‑work, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer complex pay components such as commissions, bonuses, equity transactions, severance, and retroactive adjustments in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Monitor payroll timelines and proactively escalate risks when inputs are incomplete or delayed.
  • Perform payroll reviews and reconciliations to identify discrepancies before finalization.
  • Maintain SOX‑compliant, audit‑ready documentation and support audit requests.
  • Manage employee lifecycle payroll activities (new hires, changes, separations).

Team & Operating Context
  • Part of the Global Payroll function within Corporate HR Shared Services.
  • Supports U.S. payroll operations while collaborating with a distributed, global team.
  • Works closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors.
  • Contributes to a payroll function that is actively evolving toward a global, standardized model.
Job Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in U.S. payroll operations (multi‑state, multi‑entity).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
  • Strong experience with ADP platforms (Enterprise, eTime, Smart Compliance, Reporting).
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations (federal, state, and local).
  • Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end payroll processes with accountability.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPP certification (strongly preferred).
  • Experience with Workday or similar HCM systems.
  • Experience in shared services or global payroll environments.
  • Exposure to payroll transformations or process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership mindset, even in an individual‑contributor role.

Compensation & Benefits

U.S. only. Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 per year. The compensation may be adjusted based on education, experience, certifications, performance, and other factors. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
