These are our current challenges and future goals:

As Senior Paid Search & Display Manager, you’ll set sharp guardrails for our SEA agency, challenge with data, and ensure every euro of Google spend ladders up to profitability and performance. In parallel, you’ll own the “rest of search” (Bing, Idealo, Criteo)—scaling, pruning, and testing with rigor.

Your north star is performance and profitability: tightly aligning search with our other performance channels and marketplace activity, and turning insights into action—from sales page diagnostics and feed quality to incrementality reads and seasonal bid strategies.

This is where we need your support:
  • Strategy & Ownership: Design and scale SEA across Google (core) plus Bing/Idealo/Criteo—spanning multiple countries and Google accounts—with budgets tied to ROAS, payback, and profitable growth.
  • Performance & Testing: Drive continuous optimization with hypothesis-led A/B tests on creatives, copy, keywords, audiences, feeds, and landing pages; implement fast, measure clean, cut the noise.
  • Analytics & Alignment: Build actionable reports across markets/accounts, monitor upper/lower funnel KPIs, and align tightly with Paid Social, CRM, Amazon/Marketplace, and Retail to steer channel mix.
  • Project Management & Agency: Ensure the right inputs land on time (sales pages, assets, images, feeds, tracking) and lead the SEA agency—set guardrails, challenge with data, enforce quality and pace.
  • Profit vs. Scale: Balance profitability and growth on Google via incrementality-driven budget shifts, seasonal bid strategies, and clear thresholds
You have the following experience:
  • English and German (C1-C2) is a must.
  • Extensive SEA Management Experience: Proven track record in planning, executing, and optimizing search engine advertising campaigns, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
  • Analytical Expertise:You excel at data-driven marketing, analyzing performance data, and optimizing CVR, ROAS, and CPC to ensure successful SEA campaigns.
  • Crisis Management and Problem Solving: Experience in troubleshooting campaign issues, such as underperformance or policy violations, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Adaptability:You thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly adjusting campaigns based on performance data and shifting priorities.
  • Communication:Your clear communication and project management skills enable you to coordinate multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Qualification:
    • Education: Training or degree in Marketing, Business, or Sales (preferred).
    • Experience: 3–4 years of experience in online/performance marketing with a focus on SEA.
