A leading global manufacturing and industrial technology company is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to take strategic and operational responsibility for its manufacturing site in Bremerhaven.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to drive operational excellence, productivity, capacity optimisation, digitalisation, and sustainable growth, while building and developing a high-performing organisation.

You will oversee manufacturing strategy and execution, including Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, CAPEX, S&OP, NPI, technology transfers, cost control, KPIs, and business continuity. You will also drive digitalisation initiatives across areas such as MES, IoT, predictive maintenance, automation, and data-driven manufacturing.

Working closely with global leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the site operates safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while supporting future growth.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Several years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement
• Proven success improving productivity, capacity, cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Experience with S&OP, CAPEX, NPI, technology transfer, and manufacturing strategy
• Experience with manufacturing digitalisation, MES, IoT, automation, or predictive maintenance
• Strong budget, KPI, and performance management experience
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder and customer management skills
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel/PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, strategic, and hands-on leadership approach
• Native-level German and business-fluent English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or similar
• Experience in a global industrial, electronics, automotive, or technology manufacturing environment
• Experience with Business Continuity Planning, ESG/sustainability, and operational risk management
• Experience leading manufacturing transformation or turnaround initiatives
