InstaSafe is seeking a Senior Networking & Security Field Technical Engineer to diagnose and resolve complex issues in production environments. You will analyze customer deployments, collaborate with engineering, and lead escalations to ensure reliability and security.

The role spans network, identity, and security domains with opportunities to shape product reliability while working across hybrid, cloud, and on-prem setups. Remote-first, with global scope.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on networking or security engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, and traffic flows.
• Experience with identity systems: Azure AD, ADFS, Active Directory, LDAP, SAML.
• Working knowledge of NGFWs, proxies, and secure access controls.
• Exposure to DC/DR architectures and multi-cloud environments.
• Scripting or automation for diagnostics (bash, Python).

Role Overview

The Senior Networking & Security Field Technical Engineer is a senior individual-contributor role responsible for deep technical troubleshooting, customer environment analysis, and resolution of complex networking, identity, and security issues in production environments.

This role sits at the intersection of customer deployments, field engineering, and advanced technical support, and works closely with Product Engineering, Customer Success, and Solution Architecture teams. The engineer will handle escalated issues, replicate customer problems in lab environments, and contribute to continuous product reliability and operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex networking, security, and identity issues in customer production environments.
• Perform deep diagnostics acrossapplication access, network paths, authentication flows, and security controls.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in networking, security engineering, or TAC / advanced support roles.

Core Technical Skills

• Strong understanding ofTCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing concepts, and traffic flows.
• Hands-on experience withenterprise networking and security architectures.
• Practical troubleshooting experience with Linux-based systems and networking.
• Experience with identity systems: Azure AD, ADFS, Active Directory, LDAP, SAML.
• Working knowledge ofNGFWs, proxies, and secure access controls.
• Exposure toDC/DR architectures and multi-cloud environments.

Preferred / Good-to-Have

• Prior experience infield engineering or TAC environments.
• Exposure toZero Trust or application access platforms.
• Scripting or automation for diagnostics (bash, Python).
