Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to guide Fortinet-driven security operations for client networks in Germany. You will configure FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer, perform audits, monitor events, and work with remote stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in network security, strong Fortinet skills, and NSE certifications, with independent work capability and clear communication in English or Arabic as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 5-7 years of experience in network engineering and security operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet products, FortiGate mandatory.
• Core networking: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, DNS, and segmentation.
• Fortinet NSE certifications required — NSE 4 minimum; NSE 5-7 strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote capacity with minimal supervision.
• Comfort communicating with Arabic and/or English-speaking stakeholders as needed.

• Document configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders remotely, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery within the project\'s operational hours

Overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and logs, triage alerts, and escalate/respond to incidents per client protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in network engineering and security operations
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate firewalls mandatory; FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer strongly preferred)
• Solid grounding in core networking: TCP/IP, routing/switching, VPN (IPsec/SSL), DNS, and network segmentation
• Practical security operations experience: log analysis, incident triage, firewall policy management
• Fortinet certification(s) required — NSE 4 minimum; NSE 5-7 strongly preferred
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote capacity with minimal supervision
• Strong documentation and communication skills, including comfort working with Arabic and/or English-speaking stakeholders as needed
