N-iX is looking for a Senior Migration Engineer for one of our clients.
Our customer is the European online car market, with over 30 million monthly users and a presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Migration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of user mailboxes and collaboration data from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
- Manage and troubleshoot complex data transfer issues, network connectivity, and synchronization errors
- Experience in On-Premises technologies
- Be able to identify dependencies, risks, and complexities
- Ensure all migrated data and configurations adhere to internal security policies and regulatory compliance standards
- Implement security best practices in the new environment
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer/ Migration Engineer in the IT Industry
- Proven experience executing full-scale migrations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
- Deep technical knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams
- Expertise in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) configuration, including synchronization (Azure AD Connect), conditional access, and identity federation
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance centers
- In-depth knowledge of Google Workspace administration, including user and group management, core application APIs, and data export/transfer methods
- Experience with network infrastructure and security components as they relate to cloud connectivity (e.g., firewalls, proxies)
- Experience with third‑party migration tools
- At least an upper‑Intermediate level of English (verbal and written)
