Space Structures GmbH in Berlin is seeking a Senior Mechanical Metal Design Engineer (f/m/d) to join a focused, aerospace‑oriented team in Berlin. The role requires hands‑on CAD design, strong engineering judgment, and collaboration with manufacturing partners.

You will deliver 3D SOLIDWORKS models and detailed metallic structure drawings, ensure ECSS compliance, and liaise with internal teams to support manufacturing and analysis activities. Fluency in English (C1) is required.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of post-graduation experience in mechanical projects, preferably in aerospace.
• Post-graduation CAD design experience; AIT experience is a plus.
• Experience with mechanical hardware manufacturing, CNC machining.
• Experience with ECSS standards.
• Fluency in English at C1 level.

Aufgaben

• 3D CAD modelling including parametric models in SOLIDWORKS.
• Interface-, assembly- and manufacturing drawings for metallic structures.
