Your Role

As a Senior Buyer in Market & Reference Data, you won't just manage contracts— you’ll take ownership of how our bank leverages financial data and builds strong vendor partnerships. This is a hands‑on role where your expertise drives real impact: from negotiating strategic agreements to optimizing costs and shaping data processes.

You’ll work closely with teams across the organization, acting as the trusted advisor for data needs and solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the central contact for all topics related to market and reference data.
  • Analyze data needs in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead contract design and negotiations with major providers.
  • Review existing agreements for compliance, cost‑effectiveness, and relevance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Deutsche Börse, index providers).
  • Drive process improvements with a focus on automation, standardization, and AI integration—your ideas matter!
  • Prepare insightful reports for senior management.
What We’re Looking For
  • A degree in economics, business, or a related field—or equivalent experience with a focus on financial markets.
  • Solid experience in banking or contract/license management.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
  • Ideally, experience in project management or process optimization.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
