Porsche Consulting in Germany seeks a strategic transformation expert to advise top management on maritime-focused strategy and execution. You will lead complex, data-driven projects across cargo, cruise, ports and terminals, shaping new service offerings and business models.

The role requires strong leadership, pragmatic thinking, and fluent English and German, with willingness to travel. You will operate in a hybrid setup at Porsche Consulting sites in Stuttgart and beyond.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree with honors in a related field (maritime/logistics/operations is preferred).
• Several years of consulting experience focusing on shipping, cruise, or ports.
• Solid hands-on project management from target definition to delivery.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams and clients with structured problem solving.

• Advising top management on strategy development and execution for cargo and cruise shipping companies and port/operators; including turnaround situations.
• Leading complex (digital) transformation, optimization, and sustainability projects across maritime operators’ value chains.
• Designing and implementing new business models and service offerings in shipping operations and port services.
• Driving process and performance improvements as part of operational excellence across fleet, terminal operations, and asset utilization.
• Managing smart infrastructure projects with a focus on automation, data-driven steering, and resilience.
• End-to-end responsibility for holistic project management and active involvement in business development.

Responsibilities

• Advising top management on strategy development and execution as well as efficiency and transformation programs for cargo and cruise shipping companies and port or terminal operators, including turnaround situations
• Leading complex (digital) transformation, optimization, and sustainability projects across the value chain of maritime operators and infrastructure providers
• Designing and implementing new business models and service offerings, particularly in shipping operations, port services, and the cruise industry
• Process and performance optimization as part of operational excellence initiatives across operational and indirect areas (e.g. fleet and terminal operations, asset utilization)
• Managing smart infrastructure projects with a focus on automation, data‑driven steering, and resilience
• End‑to‑end responsibility for holistic project management, active involvement in business development, and development of innovative consulting offerings

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with honors in industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field, ideally with a focus on maritime management, logistics, or operations
• Several years of consulting experience with a focus on shipping, cruise, or ports, supplemented by relevant industry exposure
• Solid hands‑on project management experience, from target definition to successful delivery
• Ability to lead and motivate teams and clients through clear objectives, structured problem solving, and effective communication
• Strong interest in strategy, operational excellence, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Very good English and German language skills and willingness to travel
