Responsibilities

• Advising top management on strategy development and execution, efficiency and transformation programs for cargo and cruise shipping companies and port or terminal operators, including turnaround situations.
• Leading complex digital transformation, optimization, and sustainability projects across the value chain of maritime operators and infrastructure providers.
• Designing and implementing new business models and service offerings, particularly in shipping operations, port services, and the cruise industry.
• Process and performance optimization as part of operational excellence initiatives across operational and indirect areas (e.g., fleet and terminal operations, asset utilization).
• Managing smart infrastructure projects with a focus on automation, data‑driven steering, and resilience.
• End‑to‑end responsibility for holistic project management, active involvement in business development, and development of innovative consulting offerings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with honors in industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field, ideally with a focus on maritime management, logistics, or operations.
• Several years of consulting experience with a focus on shipping, cruise, or ports, supplemented by relevant industry exposure.
