Caterpillar Inc. is the worlds leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment off‑highway diesel and natural gas engines industrial gas turbines and diesel‑electric locomotives. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Manufacturing Operations to join our Large Power Systems team to support Caterpillar large engine production at our Kiel facility.

What You Will Do :

• Build lead and engage a Manufacturing Operations organisation to establish a world‑class manufacturing facility.
• Direct all aspects of manufacturing operations for the facility in order to produce cost‑effective timely and high‑quality products in a safe and secure working environment.
• Manage development implementation and continual improvement of the operating methods equipment systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
• Direct development of production work schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations; monitoring process and employee performance of scheduled work activities to achieve established operating goals.
• Oversee programs and practices for hiring performance management and developing / training employees that perform and support the facility operations.
• Maintain and build positive employee relations and an inspiring work environment.
