Logicor, a leading owner, manager, and developer of European logistics real estate, seeks a Senior Manager, Development in Germany to drive development pipeline strategy. You will source land, assess markets, and lead due diligence with a strong network of landowners and advisers.

You will coordinate with internal teams, prepare financial analyses, and negotiate purchase agreements while overseeing pre-development and tender processes. Travel may be required.

Aufgaben

• Identify and secure land positions and/or brownfield locations at strategic locations in cooperation with the centralised Transactions team.
• Monitor the local and national (development) market to assess changing dynamics and make timely recommendations for the development strategy.
• Build and maintain a strong network of potential clients, brokers and municipalities.
• Lead and oversee all required due diligence processes related to potential land acquisitions.
• Collaborate with the Asset Management team on identifying opportunities in the existing portfolio (re-developments) and their execution.
• Prepare purchase offers, including the development of a planning concept and the preparation of financial feasibility analyses.
• Identify and assess cost-relevant risks during the development phase, and develop appropriate mitigation measures and solutions.
• Prepare, conduct, and follow-up on meetings with cities, municipalities, economic development agencies, and other public authorities, both for initial project presentations and throughout the ongoing development process.
• Prepare, conduct, and follow-up on purchase agreement negotiations.
• Underwrite and present business cases to initiate land acquisitions and pre-development of the development pipeline in cooperation with the centralised Transactions team.
• Cooperate with the centralised Transactions team to prepare the approval documentation for the acquisition and the construction of development projects.
• Initiate and execute the pre-development phase of development, which includes, amongst others, planning, design, studies and permitting of developments, in line with the latest standard specifications of Logicor.
• If applicable, discuss and negotiate with prospective tenants on pre-let lease agreements.
• Monitor and support the tendering process for advisors.
• Participate in trade fairs, conferences, and networking events.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Development, Germany the Senior Manager, Development will be driving the development pipeline strategy in Germany working with in-house expertise and 3rd party technical support on a need basis. The ideal candidate brings a proven commercial and development sourcing track record having completed logistics developments, from land sourcing to pre-development, permitting, packaging/tendering, delivery and handover.

The candidate will source and generate development deals across Germany to ensure they match strategic goals and objectives. The Senior Manager, Development is expected to benefit from an established network of land owners, brokers, occupiers, lawyers and technical consultancies.
