Role Overview

We’re seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Controlling, Country Oversight to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial oversight, compliance, and operational coordination across our European PropCos. You’ll be the go-to expert for local financial structures, tax compliance, and property manager coordination—bringing clarity, precision, and leadership to a complex international portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financials for PropCos and ensure alignment with budgets


• Coordinate financial statements for local investment structures (e.g., Italy funds, Swedish holding companies)


• Ensure full local compliance across tax, audit, and publication requirements


• Monitor asset valuations, impairments, and key performance indicators


• Manage fixed asset accounting and development controlling


• Lead coordination of local tax compliance and VAT processes


• Supervise property managers and ensure contract and KPI adherence


• Define and enforce standard booking logic across PMs, CMs, and our India hub


• Manage onboarding/offboarding of master data, PMs, and CMs


• Serve as the primary contact for property managers across national subsidiaries

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or equivalent experience


• Deep expertise in accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, and annual financial statements


• Proven track record in developing business processes and stakeholder relationships


• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills


• Ability to translate business needs into robust financial controls


• Exceptional problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment


• Meticulous attention to detail, structured work style, and excellent organizational skills


• Fluent in English; additional European languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish) are a plus
