As (Senior) Manager Business Continuity & Crisis Management, you will play a key role in strengthening the Group’s resilience by further developing and implementing a robust Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework. You will work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to ensure preparedness for disruptive events and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Group-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework in line with recognized standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 22301, NIS2, KRITIS).
- Conduct and coordinate Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and regularly test business continuity, crisis management, and recovery plans through exercises and simulations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for critical services and infrastructures, including NIS2 and KRITIS, and support internal and external audits.
- Support and coordinate crisis response activities during major incidents and disruptions.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate Functions (e.g., IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management) as well as Operating Companies to ensure consistent implementation of BCM requirements.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and briefings for senior leadership.
- Drive BCM awareness and resilience culture through training, communication, and advisory activities.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators, on business continuity–related topics
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Security Management, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Risk Management, or a related role, ideally in a global/international and regulated or complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of BCM standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 22301) and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and KRITIS.
- Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are an advantage.
- Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus.
