The Chemours Company in Newark, Delaware seeks a Coatings Senior Laboratory Technician to join our Teflon™ Coatings Technology team. This role is based at our Discovery Hub and reports to the lab supervisor.

You will execute coating preparation, application, testing, and documentation for experimental projects, collaborating with scientists and engineers to ensure accurate results and safe lab operations.

• Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to perform hands-on laboratory tasks in support of business objectives.

As a Coatings Laboratory Technician, you will play a key role in supporting daily laboratory activities through hands‑on execution of coating preparation, application, testing, and documentation activities of experimental projects. Working closely with scientists and engineers, you will prepare formulations and test specimens, operate laboratory equipment, conduct routine testing, maintain organized work areas, and ensure accurate recording of results.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys practical laboratory work and takes pride in being the person who helps to keep the lab running safely, efficiently and reliably with consistent execution and attention to detail.

• Practical experience with formulating, preparing, applying and testing of industrial coatings or coating raw materials.
• Experience operating common laboratory equipment such as mixers, balances, ovens, and other instruments.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain laboratory notebooks, test results, production records, equipment logs, or other operational documentation.
