Zusammenfassung

DUDE CHEM in Berlin is actively seeking a backend engineer to build and evolve financial clearing and settlement services using Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot. You will work in autonomous, cross-functional teams, applying Domain-Driven Design, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD in an agile environment.

The role focuses on cloud-native development on AWS with ECS and Lambda, infrastructure as code, observability and security.

Qualifikationen

• A university degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences, ...) or a comparable qualification.
• Strong experience building backend services with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot.
• A solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and the ability to translate complex business processes into clear software models.
• Experience designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development on AWS, especially containerised and serverless workloads.
• Confidence with automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and production observability.
• A quality and security mindset, with attention to reliability, maintainability and operational ownership.
• An interest in complex financial workflows or the curiosity to learn them quickly.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic approach to solving problems.
