DUDE CHEM sucht Backend-Engineer mit Fokus auf Kotlin/Java und Spring Boot, um zentrale Clearing- und Abwicklungsservices zu entwickeln.

Sie arbeiten in cross-funktionalen Teams, lernen agile Praktiken, Domain-Driven Design, Code Reviews, automatisierte Tests und Continuous Delivery. Sie entwickeln cloud-native Anwendungen auf AWS (ECS/Lambda), arbeiten mit IaC, CI/CD, Observability und Monitoring.

Qualifikationen

• Universitätsabschluss oder vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• Erfahrung mit Kotlin oder Java und Spring Boot aus Praktika/Projekten.
• Gutes Verständnis von OOP, API-Entwicklung und relationalen Datenbanken.
• Interesse an Domain-Driven Design und klare Softwarelösungen.
• Neugier an Cloud-native Entwicklung, verteilten Systemen und AWS.

Aufgaben

• Beitrag zur Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Clearing- und Abwicklungsdiensten mit Kotlin/Java und Spring Boot.
• Zusammenarbeit mit erfahrenen Ingenieuren in funktionsübergreifenden Teams; Lernen agiler Praktiken, DDD, Code-Reviews, automatisiertes Testing und CD.
• Aufbau und Betrieb cloud-nativer Anwendungen auf AWS, inkl. Containerisierung via ECS und Lambda.
• Unterstützung zuverlässiger Lieferung und Betrieb durch IaC, CI/CD, Observability und Monitoring.
• Schreiben von sauberem, sicherem, gut getestetem Code mit regelmäßigem Feedback des Teams.
• Beitrag zur Bereitstellung wertvoller, robuster finanzieller Workflows in Produktion.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and evolution of business-critical clearing and settlement services using Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot.
• Work closely with experienced engineers in cross-functional teams, learning agile practices, Domain-Driven Design, code reviews, automated testing and continuous delivery.
• Learn to build and operate cloud-native applications on AWS, including containerised services on ECS and event-driven workloads on Lambda.
• Support reliable delivery and operations through infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability and monitoring.
• Write clean, secure, well-tested and maintainable code, with guidance and regular feedback from the team.
• Contribute to delivering valuable, resilient and compliant financial workflows to production.
• Develop your engineering skills and contribute to the team’s culture of quality, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering or sciences), a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Practical experience with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot, gained through internships, working-student roles, personal projects or university projects.
• A solid understanding of object-oriented programming, API development, relational databases and automated testing.
• An interest in Domain-Driven Design and translating business requirements into clear software solutions.
• Curiosity about cloud-native development, distributed systems and AWS.
• A quality and security mindset, with attention to clean, maintainable and reliable code.
• An interest in complex financial workflows and the motivation to learn quickly.
• Clear communication skills, a collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.
