Tipico, Germany's leading sports betting provider, seeks a (Senior) Java Developer to design and evolve high-performance Java services in a modern, agile environment at our Karlsruhe campus. You will shape solutions with Spring Boot, contribute to new tech stacks, and maintain existing systems while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree and 6+ years of proven professional software development experience.
• Strong Java skills with enterprise frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Enthusiasm for Artificial Intelligence and willingness to stay updated with AI developments.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerized applications (Kubernetes or Docker).
• Experience with Git and Maven.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• Good English language skills.

Your playing field:

• We love what we do: You will design high performing Java-based services in a complex system landscape
• You will be involved in the concept, design and implementation of modern solutions based on Springboot
• You will contribute to our new technology stack as well as maintaining the existing legacy system
• Together as one team: You will accompany software projects from draft until running them on production
• Documentation of software-architectures and know-how-transfer belongs to your tasks
• You will coach and develop more junior team members as we believe in sharing information and learning from each other – we are as strong as our team is

Qualifications

Which skills you should bring to the pitch:

• University Degree. Bachelor's/Master's Degree and at least more than 6 years of proven professional experience in the area of Software Development
• Strong Java skills. With knowledge in using enterprise frameworks such as Springboot and Hibernate
• Artificial Intelligence. Enthusiasm for AI and willingness to stay up to date with emerging developments
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerized applications. Kubernetes or Docker
• Experiencewith Git and Maven
• In building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
