R&D-driven, flat hierarchies, strong ownership culture and direct influence on technology choices.## Your roleOwn and modernise the internal IT infrastructure as it scales. You'll run it end-to-end alongside one IT colleague, reporting to the Director Operations.- Operate, maintain and expand the on-prem Proxmox/KVM cluster, including backup strategies- Administer the network: OPNsense, UniFi, VLANs, VPNs (OpenVPN / WireGuard / Headscale)- Own the security stack (SIEM/EDR with Wazuh), endpoint protection and incident detection- Run monitoring & logging (Loki, Grafana, Zabbix) and lead incident response / post-mortems- Automate infrastructure with Ansible; script in Python & Bash; integrate APIs (Google, MS Graph, Atlassian, GitLab)- Manage directory services & access (AD, Google Workspace, M365) and VoIP (3CX)- Provide 1st/2nd-level support, manage hardware lifecycle and lead migration / roll-out projects## Must-haves- 6+ years' autonomous administration of complex IT infrastructures- Strong Linux expertise (Debian/Ubuntu/Arch) incl. deep kernel/network troubleshooting- Solid networking (VLANs, STP/RSTP, LACP, routing, firewalls, VPN)- Proxmox/KVM virtualisation incl. clustering & backups- Automation with Ansible; scripting in Python & Bash- SIEM/EDR & IT security (e.g. Wazuh, Elastic, Splunk)## Nice-to-have- Windows Server & macOS administration- Atlassian Stack, GitLab, directory services experience## What's on offer- Permanent contract, long-term perspective in a growing deep-tech environment- 30 days' holiday, flexitime, 1 fixed home-office day + further mobile work by agreement- Employer-subsidised pension & disability insurance (€100–200/month)- Deutschlandticket (€55.10) or JobRad (€54.90) subsidy after probation- Free on-site fitness studio · modern central Dresden office## ProcessHR interview → technical interview with the department → offer.
