Jobtailor in Berlin is seeking an experienced IT Manager to take sole responsibility for internal IT across seven countries. You will provide hands-on support, resolve hardware and network issues, and own the hardware lifecycle for laptops and devices.

The role also oversees MS 365, SharePoint, Intune, Jira/Confluence, and security controls. The ideal candidate has strong MS 365 expertise, experience with Windows servers, and a hands-on, pragmatic approach.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in internal IT administration or IT management in a mid-sized company with multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, particularly Entra ID, Intune, Exchange and SharePoint.
• Experience with Windows Servers is an advantage, especially for replacing and modernizing legacy environments.
• Knowledge of networking and firewalls, e.g. pfSense or comparable solutions.
• Good understanding of established IT security standards and best practices.
• Experience with ISO 27001 is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with and managing external IT service providers, including coordinating services, priorities and service quality.

Aufgaben

• Assume sole responsibility for internal IT and provide hands‑on support to employees across seven countries.
• Independently resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Own hardware lifecycle for laptops, mobiles, and firewalls including procurement and disposal.
• Administer Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, Jira & Confluence, password management, and core IT apps.
• Support ISMS and cybersecurity measures, including access reviews and firewall/VPN policies.
• Manage external IT service providers: requests, cost control, contracts, and service management.
• Modernize Berlin site network infrastructure including firewall and backup solutions.
• Own onboarding and offboarding processes: user accounts, devices, access rights.
• Contribute to IT strategy with up‑to‑date documentation, asset management and license administration.
• Gradually bring parts of Microsoft 365 administration in‑house and execute security projects.

• Assume sole overall responsibility for internal IT and provide hands‑on support to employees in seven countries


• Independently and pragmatically resolve hardware, software, and network issues


• Own the entire hardware lifecycle for laptops, mobile devices and firewalls, including procurement, inventory, replacement, and disposal


• Administer Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, Atlassian (Jira & Confluence), the password management system and other core IT applications


• Support the Information Security Officer with ISMS and cybersecurity measures, including access reviews, firewall and VPN policies, and endpoint security


• Manage external IT service providers by coordinating requests, alignment meetings, cost control, and contract and service management


• Modernize the network infrastructure at the Berlin site, including firewall and backup solutions and the decommissioning/replacement of the legacy Windows domain


• Own employee onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts, devices and access rights


• Contribute to the internal IT strategy and ensure up‑to‑date documentation, asset management and software license administration


• Gradually bring parts of Microsoft 365 administration in‑house and implement ongoing security projects

Requirements
