The role focuses on process improvement, automation, and building scalable controls while ensuring GIPS compliance and accurate performance reporting for institutional buy-side activities.

Qualifikationen

The Senior Investment Operations Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of the firm's operational, reporting, and data-management infrastructure. The firm utilizes an outsourced middle-back-office vendor, so the day-to-day operations role is one of oversight/validation/troubleshooting rather than performing clerical trade reconciliations.

Service Provider & Vendor Oversight

GIPS® Compliance & Control Environment

Support the firm's adherence to Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®), including:

• Composite maintenance
• Documentation management
• Supporting annual reviews and verifications
• Data validation, Process documentation, Control monitoring
• Help maintain a robust operational control framework

Investment Data & Analytics

Utilize investment databases and market data systems to:

• Extract portfolio data
• Validate security-level information
• Support investment reporting
• Generate portfolio analytics
• Build management dashboards
• Leverage Refinitiv Workspace and other systems to improve reporting quality and efficiency

Required Qualifications

Experience

7-10 years of relevant experience supporting an institutional buy-side global equities firm in:

• Investment operations
• Portfolio administration
• GIPS®-compliant performance reporting
• Fund operations including Shadow NAV oversight
• Middle-and back office processes
• Asset management operations and workflows

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

• Portfolio accounting
• Investment performance measurement
• Composite reporting (familiarity with GIPS® is highly desirable)
• Management-fee (flat and performance) calculations
• Cash-flow processing
• Investment operational workflows and controls
• International/global equity and foreign exchange markets
• Trade lifecycle concepts from front office to back office

Systems Experience

Hands-on experience with:

• Portfolio Accounting Systems (PAS) such as Eagle
• Order Management Systems (OMS) such as Advent or CRD
• Refinitiv Workspace, Bloomberg, FactSet. Morningstar or similar databases
• Microsoft Excel & Power BI
• AI Tools such as Claude, Prompt Engineering and Context Protocol Management

Advanced Excel Skills (Critical)

This is a power-user role.

• Candidates should be highly proficient in:
  • Complex nested formulas, dynamic arrays, advanced lookups
  • Multi-source reconciliations and data validation
  • Dashboard creation and reporting automation
  • Large dataset management
  • Knowledge of VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot, Python, or similar tools is a strong plus
