Exyte is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor (m/f/d) to independently evaluate internal controls, risk management, and compliance across the organization. You will contribute to improving audit practices and provide insights to support decision-making.

The role requires deep knowledge of audit methodologies and regulatory compliance, plus strong communication with senior leadership and a track record of mentoring audit teams. Stuttgart-based with onboarding and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with CIA/CPA/CISA/CFE certification.
• 8+ years of internal audit experience, including leading audits.
• Expert knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and audit technologies.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex audits across operational, project, financial, and compliance areas, assessing governance, risks, controls, and process effectiveness.
• Identify and evaluate emerging risks, partnering with stakeholders to develop practical recommendations that strengthen controls and governance.
• Prepare and present impactful audit reports for senior management, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Drive process and control improvements, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the continuous development of the Internal Control System (ICS).
• Act as a trusted advisor and mentor, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the implementation of best practices across the organization.
