NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Senior HR Controller to join a leading offshore wind organization on a 6-month contract. This role is based in Essen, Germany, with a hybrid working arrangement (50% remote).
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a trusted HR controlling function for offshore wind operations.
  • Design and deliver executive-grade management reports on HR efficiency.
  • Implement a repeatable reporting cadence with robust definitions, controls, and auditability across HR systems (SAP / SuccessFactors).
  • Provide actionable insights to support capacity build-out, project delivery, and operational excellence.
  • Deliver monthly dashboards and quarterly management reports using Power BI.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses for senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
Deliverables
  • Executive Reporting Packs (Monthly & Quarterly).
  • Quarterly Efficiency Reviews.
  • Forecasting & Scenario Models for headcount and cost projections.
  • Action/Initiative Tracker with milestones and impact.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Finance, HR Analytics, or related field.
  • 5 years in HR Controlling or People Analytics within complex, project-driven organizations (energy/engineering preferred).
  • Proficiency in Power BI/Tableau and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules (Recruiting, Learning, Performance & Goals, Succession, Compensation).
  • Strong data governance mindset and ability to maintain audit trails.
  • Excellent communication skills for executive reporting.
  • Fluent in English and German; knowledge of German HR compliance (DSGVO, co-determination) is a plus.
