Quantum Systems seeks a Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d) to partner with our leadership team, especially in R&D, and shape a scalable HRBP function. You will set standards, enable growth, and drive operational excellence while collaborating with engineering leaders.

You will independently support selected areas, advise on organizational development, workforce planning, and talent and performance topics, and lead change initiatives in a tech-driven environment.

As a Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d), you act as a trusted sparring partner for our leadership team – particularly within the R&D organization – and actively shape an impactful, scalable HR Business Partnering function.

You work closely with the business, establish clear standards in collaboration, and ensure that HR is perceived as a true enabler of growth, performance, and organizational development. You combine strategic thinking with strong execution and are visible in driving operational excellence.

What is your Day to Day Mission: Strategic HR Business Partnering (R&D Focus): You independently support selected business areas – especially within Engineering and R&D – and advise leaders on organizational development, workforce planning, as well as talent, performance, and change topics.

What you bring to the team: HR Business Partnering in R&D / Tech: Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally working closely with Engineering or R&D teams.

• Understanding of R&D Organizations: Experience with the challenges of scaling development organizations (e.g., role models, career paths) and translating them into effective HR solutions.

• Organizational Development & Performance: Hands-on experience in organizational development, workforce planning, and performance & development processes – ideally in a tech-driven environment.

• Change & Project Experience: Proven track record in implementing HR initiatives and supporting change processes in dynamic environments.

• Data & Tools Affinity: Confident use of HR tools (e.g., Leapsome or similar) and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Hands-on & Stakeholder Management: Structured, execution-driven working style and the ability to advise and challenge engineering leaders at eye level.

• Languages: Fluent in German and English.
