Responsibilities

• Strategic Focus: Drive the technical development and strategic direction of metal pre-treatment applications across global markets, ensuring excellence in implementation and innovation

• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for international key customers, delivering in-depth technical consulting and managing complex industrial challenges in close cooperation with local teams.

• Strategy: Lead high-impact global customer and product initiatives, from acquisition and onboarding to long-term development, with a focus on delivering measurable results.

• Portfolio: Orchestrate the lifecycle of a global product portfolio – including new product introductions, harmonization, strategic positioning, audits, and phase-outs.

• Enablement: Design and deliver internal training concepts focused on technical excellence, product differentiation, and competitive advantages for diverse global teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: Extensive, hands‑on technical expertise in the field of chemical specialities, ideally with a focus on metal pre‑treatment and industrial‑scale applications.

• Competence: Documented success in managing complex projects, developing new business, and engaging with key accounts on a technical level.

• Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory); German and/or Mandarin are a strong plus.

• Autonomy: Exceptional ability to operate independently, paired with a hands‑on, results‑driven mindset.

• Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally (ca.50%) and engage on‑site with customers and subsidiaries across regions.
