NavVis Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (F/M/D) role in Munich requires designing and implementing core client–server architecture using Java, Spring, TypeScript, Angular and PostgreSQL/PostGIS. You will collaborate with product, design and engineers to deliver scalable, reliable features that bring real-world spaces to life.

You will build NavVisIVION backend and frontend, extend the Java/Spring-based server and Angular/TypeScript client for 3D visualization, mapping and data management, and

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of software development experience with a track record delivering complex systems.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and modern web app architectures; frontend using TypeScript and Angular/React/Vue.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and scalable data services.
• Ability to define technical roadmaps and drive consensus across teams.
• Experience delivering APIs and SDKs, with feedback-driven improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration to shape technical direction; working knowledge of C++ is welcome.

Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (F/M/D)

THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will design and implement key parts of our client–server architecture, working with technologies such as Java, Spring, TypeScript, Angular, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS .You’llcollaborate closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality features that bring real-world spaces to life.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Design, implement, andmaintainbackend and frontend components of NavVisIVION, ensuring performance, reliability, and ease of use.
• Develop and extend our Java/Spring-based application server and Angular/TypeScript web client , powering 3D visualization, mapping, and data management features.
• Contribute to the evolution of our PostgreSQL/PostGIS data layer that stores and processes geospatial data at scale.
• Build and enhance APIs that enable digital enrichment of environments and integration with third-party systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate user and business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and performance optimizations.
• Support and mentorengineers with varying levels of experience within your squad,fosterknowledgesharing,and encouragecontinuous improvement.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

• You bring substantial experience in software development (typically 7+ years), with a proven track record of delivering complex systems.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and modern web application architectures, as well as frontend experience with Typescript and either Angular, React or Vue.js
  .
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and building scalable, data-intensive services.
• Demonstrated ability to define technicalroadmaps anddrive consensus in cross-functional environments.
• Experience delivering APIs and SDKs, as well as gathering developer feedback to guide future improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability tocontribute and help shaping technical direction across teams and organizations
• Working knowledge of C++ isverywelcome;while not our primary daily language, it is occasionallyrequiredfor specific projects.
