Taktile seeks a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our engineering team in a hybrid setup across Berlin, London, and Iași. You’ll design a distributed execution engine for customer workflows and own systems end-to-end from architecture to production, influencing product direction with strong technical leadership.

You’ll leverage Python on AWS, React front-end, and a design-system-driven UX, while mentoring teammates and raising our development bar.

About the Role

Taktile empowers financial institutions to transform into truly AI-native organizations. We’re growing rapidly with enterprise customers across banks and insurance companies, and we’re looking for a a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our engineering team. In Team Decide you'll focus on designing the distributed execution engine that runs customer workflows. You'll own critical systems end-to-end on a team where your decisions shape the product.

What You'll Do

• Build and operate backend services in Python on AWS — Lambda functions, DynamoDB, Aurora, and event-driven pipelines that handle real production traffic. You'll leverage agentic AI tools as part of your daily workflow.




• Work on exciting AI initiatives such as MCP servers, agentic co-pilot




• Tackle hard backend problems — latency, reliability, and scalability are everyday concerns.




• Own your systems end-to-end: from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and incident response.




• Make key architectural decisions — you'll have real authority over how things are built, not just what gets built.




• Raise the bar for the team through code reviews, mentoring, and improving our development tooling and processes.

Requirements

• Experience working with Design Systems to ensure a consistent UX among different parts of the product




• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders on a shared vision.




• The ability to work in a hybrid model from our Berlin HQ, the London office, or the Iasi hub. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

Ideal, But Not Required

• Strong system design skills — you're comfortable making architectural trade-offs and defending them




• AWS Serverless experience at scale (Lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Aurora…)
