Job summary

SIDES is the operating system for hospitality, delivering a unified platform for POS, payments, delivery, and more. We seek a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build features end-to-end in a cross-functional team, spanning backend PHP/Go and frontend Flutter, while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

You will mentor teammates and shape testing and CI/CD standards in a hybrid Berlin office. Join a team that values pragmatic problem-solving, architectural input, and ownership.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong backend experience with PHP and/or Go, combined with hands-on Flutter.
• Ability to work across backend (PHP/Go) and frontend (Flutter) as part of a unified stack.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality.
• Solid understanding of MySQL, relational data models, and API design.
• Experience with AWS and containerized deployments; Kubernetes is a plus.
• Independent, structured working style with strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in English (required); German is a plus.

SIDES is the operating system for hospitality: POS, payments, delivery, kitchen tools, self-order terminals, apps and webshops on one platform. Thousands of restaurants run on it and millions of transactions flow through it every month, peaking on a Friday night when nothing is allowed to fail.

Your responsibilities

• Deliver features end-to-end in a cross-functional team, from ideation and design to implementation, rollout, and operations
