Job summary

matchmatch seeks a senior software engineer to own the creation, design, and maintenance of web applications. The stack includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, and React Query, with a fast-paced environment and minimal tech debt.

You will drive architecture, lead end-to-end development, translate fuzzy ideas into clear specs, and collaborate with design and product leadership to deliver a delightful UX while focusing on performance and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping web applications with React and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React, and React Native.
• Experience creating websites from Figma mocks.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• A keen eye for detail, particularly in ensuring UI elements' visual quality and interactivity.
• Experience with ‘polishing’ UI in collaboration with a designer.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, etc.).
