As a Senior Frontend Engineer, your mission is to steer the frontend development of our trading platform, and to take full ownership of frontend projects within the organization. Help us develop intuitive, user-friendly web applications all while making a meaningful impact on our mission for a more sustainable future.

The position is offered full-time and in Berlin and at the earliest possible start date.

Your Responsibilities At GO2 Markets

• You will take full ownership of frontend projects within the organisation - from ideation and development to maintenance and debugging
• You will develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality web frontend applications.
• You will continuously test the software we are building together, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency.
• You will design, document, and develop frontend architecture and take thought-through technical decisions.
• You will ensure a seamless user experience and visually appealing designs by collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
• You will stay up to date with best practices and trends, bring in your innovative ideas, and actively exchange knowledge with your Engineering team colleagues.
  
  
  
  
  

Your profile

• You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and 4+ years of working experience in a frontend engineering role.
• You have a strong passion for technologies and constantly stay up to date with developments in the industry
• You have solid knowledge of different frontend languages, libraries, and frameworks - we want you to contribute to our tech stack; currently we work with Typescript and React
• You are a strong and proactive communicator, value transparency, and give and receive feedback with openness and curiosity
• You are taking well-informed, pragmatic, and confident technical decisions while striving for the highest quality in your work
