Job summary

Agile Robots SE in Munich, Germany, is seeking a software engineer who can deploy our software at customer sites, integrate with on-site systems, and troubleshoot issues. When not traveling, you will contribute to our product codebase as a software engineer.

Requirements include a degree in CS/IT/Mechatronics or equivalent, strong C# skills, and experience with WPF/Avalonia. Willingness to travel at least 40% and excellent English communication are essential.

About the role:

You deploy our software at customer sites, integrate it with on-site systems, troubleshoot issues, and feed precise findings back to the engineering team. When you're not traveling, you'll contribute directly as a
software engineer to our product codebase.

Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and validate our software in on-premise customer environments
• Investigate and resolve issues on site; create minimal repros and hand over to Engineering as needed
• Integrate with customer infrastructure and verify end-to-end workflows
• Provide concise field feedback that informs product priorities
• Act as a development team member when not traveling, applying your on-site knowledge to guide
• Design and implementation towards impactful outcomes

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience
• Strong C# skills
• Experience with desktop/UI frameworks (WPF, Avalonia)
• Enthusiasm for robotics and industrial automation
• Willingness to travel at least 40%
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with one or more of: robotics, machine vision, OpenGL, PLCs, or Modbus
• C++ experience
