ABOUT YOU is seeking a Flutter Engineer to build and ship high-impact features for the AY App using Dart and Flutter. You will collaborate with product managers, QA, and designers to deliver components and leverage features.

You bring 4+ years of programming experience, strong Dart/Flutter expertise, and a focus on UI development and maintainable code. You will help improve frontend logic and reduce technical debt in an agile environment.

• 4+ years of programming experience
• At least 1 year of app development experience
• Extensive experience in Dart and Flutter
• Strong expertise in UI development and building complex frontend logic
• Write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and keep code quality high

Job Description

• Build and ship new high impact features and improvements to the AY App using Dart and Flutter, contributing to one of the most widely-used applications built with Flutter
• Work closely together with other experienced engineers, product managers, QA, and designers to ship new components and high-leverage features
• Proactively identify and seek to resolve technical debt and building internal tools to enhance team productivity
• Have a direct impact on team processes by regular agile retrospectives

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programming experience, at least a year of App development experience
• Extensive experience in Dart and Flutter
• Strong expertise in UI development and building complex frontend logic
• Deep understanding of building complex frontend logic
• You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check

Nice To Have

• Design awareness and ability to collaborate closely with designers
• Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment
• expertise in UI and Animation development
