Banyan Software, a software consolidator, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with operating and finance teams across portfolio companies. You will own GAAP reporting, budgeting, KPIs and variance analyses to drive growth.

This role covers revenue recognition, accounts payable, cash management, financial reporting, and systems optimization; you will collaborate with M&A teams, develop ad hoc dashboards, and deliver value through disciplined financial operations.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in a finance/accounting role.
• Qualification / part-qualification from a recognised financial / accounting body.
• Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite would be an asset.

This is an exciting and entrepreneurial opportunity to join a fast-paced software consolidator with asignificant growth trajectory. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Manager or designee. This role will focus on partnering with operating and finance colleagues to support high-qualitysoftware businesses owned by Banyan Software. The position is ideal for an individual who has theinterest and aptitude to be involved in all aspects of finance operations, including revenue recognition,accounts payable and expenses, cash management, financial reporting, and analysis, as well as systems. This finance group also aims to play a “value-added” role by leveraging financial and other datato drive shareholder value.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurate GAAP financial statements, board reporting, budgets, and KPIs
  of operating companies to drive growth and smart decision-making.
• Perform quality assurance on finance and accounting work products (e.g., reviewing GL
  postings for accuracy, monitoring revenue recognition, refining variance explanations in
  reporting).
• Contribute to the operational performance of operating companies through analysis of
  budget-to-actuals, benchmarking against portfolio, operational revenue and expense
  analysis, and insights that further facilitate decision-making.
• Partner with M&A colleagues and support the operational/financial integration ofacquisitions
• Implement process improvement initiatives contemplated in M&A business cases.
• Develop ad hoc reports & dashboards to help CEOs with monitoring their businesses.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote best practices and efficiencyacross the portfolio
• Provide financial advice and guidance to the business as requested.d

Qualifications for success:

• The ideal candidate for the role will possess the following characteristics:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance/accounting role
• Qualification / part-qualification from a recognised financial / accounting body
• Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with financial systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite, would be an asset
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Highly motivated and energetic with interest in entrepreneurship, software, and finance
• Fluent in German and English
