Traild is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to own revenue recognition entries, run the month-end close, and support tax and audit compliance. You will lead a small offshore finance team, setting quality standards and applying the revenue policy across periods.

Deep hands-on Xero experience and advanced Excel skills are required, along with the ability to explain accounting calls to non-technical colleagues and maintain audit-ready records.

• We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Accountant to play a critical role in keeping accounting records accurate and audit-ready.
• You will own revenue recognition entries and core month-end journals, run the close, and support tax and audit compliance.
• Lead a small offshore finance team, setting quality standards and running regular one-to-ones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post revenue entries in Xero each period, applying the revenue recognition policy independently.
• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and non-routine entries.
• Run the month-end close checklist in Asana, following up outstanding items and escalating blockers.

Who You Are:

• CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years in technical accounting, strong exposure to revenue recognition and month-end close.
• Deep hands-on Xero experience and advanced Excel for reconciliations and close workpapers.
• Comfortable making and defending accounting treatment calls and explaining clearly to non-technical colleagues.
