Senior Events Marketing Manager, Germany

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audiences for our portfolio of events in Germany, including conferences, awards and roundtables.

Your primary objective will be to ensure we achieve our audience and registration targets through a range of digital and offline marketing channels, including email, social media, paid media and telemarketing. You will need hands‑on experience with email marketing and campaign deployment, a strong understanding of data and analytics, excellent attention to detail and superb organisational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the VP Marketing, Events to implement our digital-focused event marketing strategy across the German portfolio.
  • Take ownership of strategic marketing plans for assigned events, ensuring campaigns, channels, timelines and activities are effectively planned and delivered.
  • Develop and execute multi‑channel audience acquisition campaigns across email, social media, paid media, telemarketing and other relevant channels.
  • Be a super user of our marketing systems, helping to create automated data selections and email campaigns using Adestra, develop dynamic event websites through Cvent and WordPress, and deliver engaging social media campaigns across LinkedIn and other relevant networks.
  • Monitor campaign performance and use data and analytics to identify opportunities to optimise activity and improve audience acquisition.
  • Develop and segment existing audience data while identifying new sources of data to increase the reach and effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a custodian of our event brands in Germany, ensuring our value propositions and audience messaging are communicated consistently and effectively across every channel.
  • Work closely with product and editorial teams to help shape event strategy using insights from marketing activity, audience behaviour and event surveys.
  • Collaborate with global event marketing and audience teams, sharing learnings and contributing to centralised best practices.
  • Contribute to daily, weekly and monthly reporting on registrations, attendee demographics and overall marketing performance.
  • Support sponsorship marketing activity where required, helping to promote commercial opportunities to prospective partners.
About you
  • Strong experience in event marketing and audience development, ideally within B2B events.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including email, websites, social media and paid media.
  • Experience developing and delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns against clear audience and registration targets.
  • Knowledge of the technology industry and/or B2B marketing practices in Germany is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within an international organisation or with international teams or clients is preferable.
  • Ability to think strategically while also being comfortable taking hands‑on ownership of campaign delivery.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, audience data management and marketing technology.
  • Confident using data and performance metrics to evaluate campaigns, identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to develop compelling audience messaging for events.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events, campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity when working across international teams and markets.
Our Offer

In return, we offer the opportunity to make a difference as part of a successful international company that prides itself on individual development and a “let’s try it” attitude.
