ENERCON seeks a Senior Engineer for Sensoric Systems and Advanced Modelling to drive the specification, modeling and integration of intelligent sensorics for wind turbines and energy storage systems.

You will develop sensor models and state machines using Matlab/Simulink, Simscape and System Composer, and lead cross-functional teams through HiL validation and system tests. English communication is essential, as is experience with V-model workflows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Profound knowledge with industrial intelligent sensor systems covering both hardware and software functions.
• Requirements engineering, test specifications, development according to V-model including verification & validation.
• Proficiency in model-based development using Matlab/Simulink & SimScape, ideally including System Composer.
• Strong system thinking and product ownership experience in Modelling or SW Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Requirement specification of intelligent industrial sensorics with focus functions and interfaces for wind turbines & BESS.
• Concept and feasibility studies as well as assessment of advanced COTS sensorics.
• Sensor system multi-domain integration into controller environment, including modeling and sensoric software functions.
• Development of models incl. application relevant dynamics, communication and state machines in Matlab/Simulink/Simscape & System Composer.
• Verification and validation of sensor models & system functions on HiL and test benches.
• Cross-functional product ownership and leadership of development teams with internal and external partners.

Tasks

• Strongly pronounced system thinking & keen perception on system interfaces. Product Ownership experience required
• Lateral leadership skillset & decision making power as well as proven product ownership experience in Modelling or SW Engineering
• Distinct background in managing local and international stakeholders with proven track record
• Excellent communication & presentation skills in English
