A technology company is seeking a Senior Engineer for systems engineering in Germany. This role focuses on leading the transition from IBM DOORs to Siemens Teamcenter for the BWRX-300 engineering team. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed. Process that proceeds from concept to production to operation.

Job Description Summary
GE Vernova Hitachi’s (GVH) Design process and Requirements Management team is looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the BWRX-300 Engineering organization in the transition from IBM DOORs ELM (Engineering Lifecyle Management) and Enovia PLM (Project Lifecycle Management) to the implementation of Siemens Teamcenter. You will be responsible for leading the BWRX-300 engineering organization in the successful transition between design and requirements management tools, processes, training, and procedures while supporting multiple engineering projects that are in process. Responsibilities will include development and revision of existing processes, training and planning materials, software configuration and data model architecture, and coordination between stakeholders to facilitate a smooth transition and integration with existing engineering projects, deadlines, and milestones.
The transition between ELM and Teamcenter is more than a change in design tools, it is advancing and improving our design and requirements management processes in a shift from a document centric model to a data-centric design process that will enable multiple variants of the standard design to be developed simultaneously while providing full traceability of requirements, design inputs, and verification and validation to support fulfilling business objectives.
The ideal candidate should have experience with systems engineering, software engineering, design engineering and processes, data models and software architecture for building a major infrastructure or critical facilities project. Experience within GVH nuclear design process and procedures and experience and expertise in the field of design process and requirements management databases Siemens Teamcenter and IBM Doors Next Generation / Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) is strongly preferred.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: ineligible.
