Für den Standort Weßling suchen wir:

Senior Engineer Airframe Design (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Managing complex tasks internally and externally; defining specific actions and means to fulfil the requirements
• Integrator tasks of complex aerostructures
• Planning the required activities and the required competencies and skills according to the defined deliverables.
• Working as a team member within an airframe work package to ensure deliverables
• Ensuring structural integrity by optimising airframe weight and performance. Propose optimisations for both weight improvement and cost efficient design
• Define the required test procedures and progress monitoring in line with the programme process to ensure on-time delivery and quality
• Define and drive opportunities for digitalisation and automation of airframe analysis processes, methods and tools.

Your qualifications:

• Recognised expert in the field of airframe design
• Degree in engineering (MA Eng/Sc, Dr./PhD. in materials, aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering
• >10 years of professional experience in the relevant areas of airframe development and airframe design
• Extensive knowledge of airframe certification requirements, design criteria, materials, methods and tools
• Experience in new aircraft development (CS25)
• Ability to prioritise, manage and multi-task
• Experience in product development for multiple aircraft programmes
• Leading and instructing complex tasks within/outside the company
• Very good presentation, communication and leadership skills
• Catia V5, PLM 3D experience, MS Office
