John Paul Construction seeks a Senior Engineer to base in Frankfurt, Germany, delivering data centre projects with the project team. You will coordinate lifting operations, verify drawings, and implement QA and safety procedures on site.

The role requires a recognised Appointed Person (Lifting), a third level degree, and 5+ years’ experience on construction projects. Travel and relocation support are offered where applicable.

Due to continued expansion, we require a Senior Engineer for a role based inFrankfurt, Germany.

The Senior Engineers will support the delivery of construction of Data Centre projects. Working alongside experienced project teams.

• Candidates must hold a recognised Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification and demonstrate proven experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising complex lifting operations on construction or industrial sites.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting the Project Manager and the wider team to provide technical advise on the project
• Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors
• Perform technical verifications of civil engineering designs, models and drawings.
• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI’s and resolves technical issues
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics
• Record keeping and reporting

Specific Requirements

• Relevant Third level Degree
• 5+ years’ experience
• Hold a recognised Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification
• Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech,Distribution,Warehouse)
• Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment is essential
• Excellent IT skills – knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
