About the Role

Their legal team is looking for a skilled Senior Employment Lawyer / Employee Relations Counsel.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the HR team, executives, and managers.
  • Provide strategic, risk-based legal counsel on hiring, terminations, employee rights, pay transparency and global expansion.
  • Efficiently and effectively resolve legal disputes, working closely with HR and external counsel.
  • Partner with HR to create and implement global initiatives.
  • Conduct and advise on confidential internal investigations.
  • Collaborate to streamline processes related to creating and updating policies, employment-related agreements, and training to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Mentor junior legal colleagues and members of the HR team.
Requirements
  • We are looking for an Employment Lawyer or Employee Relations Manager with background in employment law, with at least 5 years of experience but preferable more.
  • Ideally you have worked for an international company and it's essential that you are fluent in English.
  • You have excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills and are able to build trust and communicate with empathy with a diverse range of people.
  • You are a proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of your work and managing multiple projects at once.
  • You have a global, agile, and curious mindset and an ability to think creatively and outside the box to solve complex problems.
