Lemon.io is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a remote, part-time role (~20 h/week) to support a client building AI-enabled embedded camera hardware. You’ll bring 6+ years in embedded software, 3+ years in C++, and 3+ years with Embedded Linux to accelerate product milestones.

Computer Vision is required; JavaScript, OpenCV, and CSS are a plus. Strong English communication and fast onboarding are essential for effective collaboration with the client and distributed team.

The client is a technology-driven business focused on developing and commercializing embedded camera hardware with advanced AI and computer vision capabilities. The company is transitioning from MVP to full-scale product launch and aims to scale its engineering capacity rapidly.

Involvement: part-time, 20 h / week

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer
• 3+ years of experience with C++
• 3+ years of experience with Embedded Linux
• Computer Vision is a must
• Experience with JavaScript, OpenCV, CSS is a plus
• Clear and effective communication in English — advanced ability to discuss business tasks, justify decisions, and communicate issues. Good self-presentation is also essential for upcoming client calls.
• Adaptability and flexibility — the ability to onboard onto a project promptly after accepting it and start delivering results quickly.
