Roche Holding AG in Mannheim seeks a Senior Electronics Engineer (m/f/d) to lead analogue and digital circuitry for diagnostic devices. You will build prototypes and perform troubleshooting across assembly and components, with EMC pre-compliance testing as a core duty.

In the role of Senior Electronics Engineer (m/f/d), you will take charge of the conceptualization and circuit design of analogue and digital assemblies for diagnostic devices in medical applications. Building prototypes and demonstrators, conducting systematic troubleshooting at the assembly and component levels, and performing EMC pre-compliance testing will be part of your daily routine. You will also actively contribute to risk analyses and Design FMEAs, implementing technical safety measures directly into the electronics design.

For this challenging role, you hold a successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Medical Engineering, Mechatronics, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification. You bring at least 5–10 years of solid experience in independent hardware development, ideally gained within the regulated medical technology sector. Routine experience with common design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCAD, EAGLE, or OrCAD) and circuit simulation (e.g., SPICE) is second nature to you.
