NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY seeks a Senior Echo Tech / Sonographer in Pediatrics to perform echocardiograms and stress studies for inpatients and outpatients, with lead responsibilities for inpatient pediatric exams and staff cross-training.

The ideal candidate will have a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program graduate, RDCS or RCS certification, at least 3 years hospital experience, and BLS. On-site Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm; competitive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification by ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI.
• At least 3 years of experience in echocardiography.
• Basic Life Support - BLS as per AHA guidelines.

Aufgaben

• Perform echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms for outpatient and inpatient cases.
• Support TAVR and RAMP cases in Cath Labs for pre- and post-imaging.
• Maintain all Echo equipment and lead inpatient pediatric echocardiograms.
• Cross-train staff and assist Supervisor of Cardiology with related tasks.

Join our top-notch team, and help patients with rare, critical conditions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for completing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms for outpatient and inpatients. Techs also support TAVR and RAMP cases done in the Cath Labs for pre and post imaging. Maintain all Echo related equipment. In addition, you will be responsible as the lead for inpatient pediatric echocardiograms as well as the lead to cross train existing staff and maintain pediatric quality of the lab and assist the Supervisor of Cardiology with related tasks.

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Preferred Criteria

• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
• Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
• Experience in a hospital setting

• Basic Cardiac Life Support - AHA
