Zusammenfassung

Next Ventures is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote Europe contract (3-6 months) to support a global client. You will design and manage scalable containerized infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, and deployment with Helm/Helmfile, on AWS.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with large-scale IT projects or enterprises, hands-on lifecycle management, on-call support, and strong Java Spring Boot integration.

Qualifikationen

• Over 5 years experience with large scale IT projects or large enterprise organisations.
• Hands on full end to end lifecycle management.
• Experience with on-call support.
• Support backend implementation along with typical DevOps support and activities.

Aufgaben

• Design and manage scalable, containerized infrastructure using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Deploy and manage applications using Helm/Helmfile.
• Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch).
• Work with distributed systems including Kafka and Camunda.
• Manage databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with developers working on Java (Spring Boot) applications.
• Drive test automation and deployment automation practices.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
• Work with GitOps tools like ArgoCD (good to have).
• Basic understanding of frontend frameworks like Angular (nice to have).
