Overview

Senior Developer-System Architecture (Cyber Security) role at Cyber Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Develop the MSSP platform with a strong focus on security and scalability.
• Design and implement full-stack solutions using Supabase (SQL), NextJS, TypeScript, and Python.
• Integrate cybersecurity tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Elastic, Windows Defender) into the platform.
• Build large-scale real-time data pipelines and a robust security data lake for analytics.
• Build and optimize APIs to communicate with various security agents.
• Lead system design discussions and make key architectural decisions.
• Work closely with analysts and cybersecurity teams to translate security needs into technical implementations.
• Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software development, with a focus on cybersecurity or security-related systems.
• Deep understanding of threat detection, SIEM, EDR, security lakes, and security automation.
• Experience with full-stack development (Supabase, NextJS, TypeScript, Python).
• Strong SQL and database design expertise (performance tuning, indexing, security).
• Experience integrating security tools into large-scale applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps principles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in MSSP or SOC environments. Contributions to open-source security projects. Certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, AWS Security).
