Vinted in Berlin is seeking a data analytics professional to help define monetization strategy and pricing plans for the Marketplace sub-domain. You will join a cross‑functional team and shape experimentation, analytics, and decision science to drive member value and business impact.

Information about the position

Pricing & Services sub-domain is part of Vinted Marketplace and focuses on delivering the highest value to our members through pricing, escrow, visibility, and verification services. It shapes how integrated shipping and buyer protection, visibility, and verification services are offered to members, defining the eligibility and applicability of these services, as well as how they are sold and marketed, including branding, communication and pricing. The subdomain also plays a significant role in defining how Vinted invests into growing new markets and categories, ensuring that the investments are efficient.

In this role, you’ll join a cross‑functional product team and collaborate closely with a Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Designer, and Engineers. You will contribute significantly to defining the strategy of the new monetization streams at Vinted, including their eligibility and pricing. You will also work with the team in developing experimentation plans to validate the strategic direction and measure business impact.

This is a dynamic role requiring strategic thinking, strong problem‑solving, and the ability to balance multiple tracks at once. You’ll significantly contribute to shaping the strategy of future monetization of the marketplace, while supporting product changes that drive both member value and business impact.

In this position, you’ll

• Partner with your team and stakeholders at Vinted, to define strategy of the monetization streams, provide data‑driven recommendations, as well as answer critical business questions.
• Develop experimentation plans that help the team to validate the strategic direction and understand business impact of implemented features, using statistical methods and visualisation tools.
• Define, implement, and monitor your team's key performance indicators, proactively flagging issues, running analyses and understanding root causes.
• Enable your team and direct stakeholders to independently leverage data for business insights via self‑service dashboards.
• Contribute to a data‑driven culture by promoting best practices in analytics and decision‑making to make data count.
• Ensure new business initiatives have been reviewed through the eyes of a decision scientist and proven to be impactful.

About you

• Experience in a Decision Science or Data Analytics role
• Good analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to balance depth of analysis with business impact
• Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Knowledge of statistical methods, such as A/B testing, regression analysis, and other inferential techniques
• A proactive individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving business environment
• Highly results‑oriented and comfortable with iterative processes
• Strong communicator who can convincingly present results to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
