Xsolla is a global commerce company for game developers. We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions, optimize performance, implement replication, and drive automation with Terraform and Puppet. Candidates should have 5+ years in DBA roles, strong SQL, and cloud experience.

Excellent communication and English proficiency required. Berlin-based or distributed work possible.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Technology, or related field
• Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
• Strong knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)
• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Linux
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Responsibilities

• Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions

A plus if:

• Experience in scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Bash/Python)
• Team management experience
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix
