About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist (NLP) - Logistics, Service (all genders) to help us create outstanding customer service products using NLP, machine learning, and generative AI.

Your role:

• Conceptualize the right modeling approach for challenges in Customer Service at scale, collaborating with your squad lead and stakeholders, using cutting-edge research.
• Build end-to-end solutions from inception to production, including research, data gathering, alignment, development, experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Contribute to a fast-moving global tech organization and make an impact.
• Grow and have fun with your team.

What you need to succeed:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in industry or academic roles.
• Experience applying machine learning or statistical methods to real-world datasets, with a proven track record.
• Knowledge of classical NLP and NLU problems such as text classification, summarization, translation, NER, and speech-to-text.
• Familiarity with libraries like HF Transformers, SpaCY, PyTorch, JAX, and gen-AI tooling such as llama.cpp, langchain, etc. Understanding of model architectures like transformers, VAE, GANs, and frameworks like Retrieval Augmented Generation.
• Fluent in Python and familiar with scientific libraries; other languages are a bonus.
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing and experience designing and analyzing experiments.
• Experience with software engineering tools like Git, Docker, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), Kubernetes, CI/CD, and pipelines like Metaflow.
• Write maintainable, best-practice code.
• Fluent in English.
