Senior Data Scientist | Media Company | AI & Advanced Analytics | Hannover (Hybrid)

AI Futures have been retained to recruit a Senior Data Scientist for a leading media company undergoing a significant digital and AI transformation.

This is a senior data science role positioned at the core of the organisation’s AI and analytics strategy. The company is scaling its capabilities in Machine Learning, time series forecasting, optimisation, and cloud-based AI (Azure) to drive intelligent automation and measurable commercial impact. The role offers strong visibility with senior leadership and influence over technical direction in a complex, highly regulated environment.

Location: Up to 2 days per week onsite in Hannover

Remuneration: Up to €120k total package

The Role

• Provide senior technical leadership across Machine Learning initiatives within an Azure cloud environment
• Develop and optimise advanced ML models, with a strong focus on time series analysis and optimisation techniques
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, production‑grade ML systems
• Operate effectively within a highly regulated environment, ensuring robust and reliable AI solutions
• Engage senior stakeholders and translate analytical insights into tangible business outcomes

The Candidate

• 5+ years’ experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or applied AI
• Strong expertise in Machine Learning, optimisation, and time series modelling
• Proven experience working in Azure‑based cloud environments
• Broad AI knowledge with the ability to solve complex, real‑world business problems
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, mentoring experience, and strong stakeholder communication skills
• Languages: German (English a plus)
