Zusammenfassung

Meyandy LLC sucht einen (Senior) Data Platform Engineer (m/w/d) zur Verstärkung unseres Tech-Teams in Berlin, Konstanz oder München. Du besitzt fundierte Erfahrung mit Aufbau und Betrieb von Infrastruktur und Pipelines in der AWS-Cloud und arbeitest eng mit Backend, Data Scientists und Product Owners zusammen.

Du gestaltest CI/CD-Pipelines, definierst Tools und Architekturen für Daten- und KI-Verteilungen, und übernimmst Verantwortung für Implementierung und Testing im gesamten SDLC.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Ingenieurwissenschaften oder Data Science oder gleichwertige Qualifikation.
• Mindestens 2–3 Jahre Erfahrung beim Aufbau und Betrieb von Infrastruktur und Pipelines in AWS.
• Starke Python-Programmierung und praktische Erfahrung mit AWS Serverless.
• Vertraut mit Spark, Terraform und Databricks.
• Erfahrung/Interesse an API-Design, Developer Experience und datengetriebenen Produkten – ideal mit Node.js/TypeScript.
• Eigenständiges Arbeiten, Teamfähigkeit und Bereitschaft zur Ownership.
• Motivation, Wissen zu teilen und neue Ansätze auszuprobieren.

Aufgaben

• Du betreibst die technische Plattform, über die wetter.com Datenprodukte an B2B- und B2C-Kunden liefert.
• Du entwickelst und betreibst innovative Produkte zusammen mit Backend, Data Scientists oder Product Owners (APIs, Webhooks, ML-/AI-Pipelines).
• Du gestaltest den kompletten SDLC von Konzeption über Prototyping bis zur Produktion.
• Du definierst, errichtest und wartest CI/CD-Pipelines in moderner Cloud-Infrastruktur.
• Du formst aktiv die Weiterentwicklung von Daten- und KI-Verteilungsarchitekturen und prüfst benötigte Tools.

Standort To strengthen our Tech Team at Berlin, Constance or Munich, we are at earliest opportunity looking for a (Senior) Data Platform Engineer (m/w/d).

Deine Aufgaben

• You own the technical platform through which wetter.com delivers weather & climate data products to B2B & B2C customers
• You develop and operate innovative products together with our backend team, data scientists, or product owners (e.g. public and private APIs, webhooks, ML training & prediction pipelines, AI pipelines)
• You participate in full SDLC — from conception through prototyping to production
• You define, set up, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern cloud infrastructure
• You actively shape the evolution of our data and AI distribution architecture and evaluate necessary tools and technologies

Dein Profil

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or an equivalent qualification
• You have at least 2-3 years of experience in setting up and operating infrastructure and pipelines on AWS cloud
• You have strong Python programming skills and hands‑on experience with AWS Serverless
• You are familiar with tools such as Spark, Terraform and Databricks
• You have experience and/or strong interest in API design, developer experience (developer portal, webhooks) and shipping data‑driven products to external customers – ideally with hands‑on experience in Node.js/TypeScript
• You already code and automate with AI, and you enjoy applying AI/LLM frameworks to build faster and smarter
• You have excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• You are motivated to take ownership, enjoy knowledge sharing and experimenting with new approaches
